REQUESTS (8/13/10)

Here is where you can write in your requests. I have only one rule: If Netflix doesn’t rent it, I can’t review it.

Just about anything is fair game, so put your request in the Comments section below. All requests will be honored in the order they are received. Three tips before you make yours:

1. Make sure the movie you want reviewed isn’t already requested (See list below).
2. Make sure I haven’t written about it yet by searching my blog first (Bottom-right of the page).
3. Limit three requests per person per month, please.

Other than that, have at it! The next movie I write about may be yours!

(Check back often for updates!)

L.A. Confidential (1997) – Long Wait
The Pianist (2002)
Brief Encounter (1945)

(Release dates are unknown, so please be patient!)

Deathstalker 2 (1987)
Meet the Feebles (1989)
The Odd Couple – Bonus Material

  1. ‘Ordinary People’ (1980) and ‘In The Bedroom’ (2001). Very similar themes and am curious as to what you think of both of them.

    • Thank you. Your requests are now in my Queue. Please be patient. I will get to them as soon as possible. — Rob

UPDATE (3/1/10) – I should get to these requests in about 2-3 weeks

  2. Any early Peter Jackson film – either ‘Meet the Feebles’ or ‘Braindead’. Alternatively, ‘Good-Bye Pork Pie’, if it is available.

    • Unfortunately, your three suggesstion are unavailable (with only Meet the Feebles listed as a possible future release), so I dug up Heavenly Creatures and Dead Alive instead (assuming, of course, by “early” Peter Jackson, you mean pre-LOTR). Hope this works!

  3. I request The Goodbye Girl (The original. Not the Satan is alive and well re-make) and You’ve Got Mail.

  4. I think you should watch “Dazed and Confused” next. And maybe “Rocky Horror Picture Show”!

  5. Mr Roberts and The Odd Couple

    • Mister Roberts is already listed, and will arrive Tuesday, 6/1 (I was hoping for it to be here for Memorial Day Weekend, but there was a change in plans). The Odd Couple is now listed! Thanks!

  6. L.A. Confidential (1997) and The Pianist (2002)

  7. Brief Encounter
